Fred Watson

Fred has been passionate about fly fishing from a young age, growing up fishing for trout and salmon with his family whenever they had the chance.

Over the years, he's been fortunate enough to fish in places like the US and New Zealand, where he developed a deep knowledge of trout fishing. These experiences sparked a lifelong love for targeting trout on the fly.

Fishing in the UK is also a big part of Fred’s story. He has spent many hours on Scottish rivers chasing salmon and many of his early years were dedicated to fly fishing for pike, a time when he worked hard to perfect his casting technique.

More recently, Fred has begun sharing his skills with others through guiding. He’s passionate about teaching new anglers and finds real joy in watching others discover the excitement and peace that fishing brings
