Upper Mill River Test Chalkstream Fishing

The Upper Mill on the river Test in Longparish, is a perfect place to cater for one or two rods. This beat is on a privately owned mill house where you can fish in the beautiful gardens above the mill. As well as having access to a carrier alongside of the main river. This carrier is just under a Kilometre long and is perfect for those who wish to have a more technical environment to play in (the best of both)

The main river has a good head of wild trout and grayling as well as being stocked with brown trout. You can also wade the lower part of the beat below the Mill house to the main pool. This is a nice way to spend a few hours stalking fish in the morning or afternoon.

The beat has a comfortable rod room and loo. BBQ facilities are available to have a good lunch/ supper.
